3-Sep Choose Your Future
Ephesians 4:31 - Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.
This scripture appears to be telling us to do the impossible. Who hasn’t tried to control themselves, to stop harsh words or anger, only to fail time after time? No amount of will power, personal desire or determination can free us from our bad habits and evil behavior, or give us control over our tongue and our emotions. As soon as we realize that we can’t help ourselves, we can turn to the One who has already saved us. This is the perfect time in your life to turn all your shortcomings over to God and allow Him to work His perfection in you. Imagine how wonderful it will be to go into your next job with a set of new behaviors and free of bad habits. Ask God to do that work in you as you journey to your new place of employment!
Declare This:
- By faith I receive the power to change myself.
- I trust that God has begun a good work in me and He will complete it.
- I willingly release my bad habits and wrong thinking and expect to be transformed into the likeness of Christ.
